A friend just sent me a message saying he always thinks of me on Veteran's Day and thanked me for my service. A nice sentiment, one that should be expressed to all vets.
Too often we think of today as a shopping day or the unofficial start to the holiday season.
Today should be a day of rememberance. A day to reflect on all the vets living and dead that have protected our freedoms.
Hopefully, we can find time to say thanks and to remember to cherish these liberties that so many have fought and died for.
