The Outer Banks has been the beneficiary of the low offshore of Florida.
The past couple of days has brought cloudy skies and periodic showers. This is much needed rainfall although it really hasn't amounted to a whole lot of rain. Unfortunately, the tourists have had less than ideal weather for their vacation, but this time of the year is always iffy. We'll just have to wait and see how organized this Florida low becomes. Right now it looks like the low pressure system is headed to the Gulf.
