Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson| Posted Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 12:42:59 PM | Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson today warned that both China and the U.S. are experiencing increasing nationalism and protectionism. Paulson also called for China to adopt market-based principles that would allow its currency to rise faster, creating a more balanced economic growth in the country and benefiting world markets. Important developments tonight in China's alarming rise—and this country's fumbling response.
I watched this clown (Sec. Paulson) on Lou Dobbs last night, from which the above statement was taken.
Paulson asked China, pretty please, if they wouldn't stop manipulating their currency and play fair.
China knows exactly what it is doing, why should it change?
The US, on the other hand, doesn't have a clue about the can of worms that it has opened up. Paulson and the rest of our representatives continue to live in a dream world and won't wake up until its too late.
Your damn right the American people want protection. Call it whatever you like, but protect our interests first! | |
