Ron Paul?| Posted Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 10:34:55 AM | Paul has some interesting viewpoints, some of which I agree with.
He certainly appears to have a very active group of online supporters. For the second time, he has had a windfall of online donations, this time totaling $6,000,000.
Unfortunately, he doesn't appear to have the campaign support team to turn this windfall into votes. This appears to be the problem for the online community. They are prepared to support their candidate of choice by online activity and donations, but this has never turned into votes.
With the primaries and caucuses looming in the immediate future, how does a candidate get someone off the internet and into the the voting booth. This problem plagued Dean and I believe it will now plague Paul.
I just don't see Paul shooting up from his single digit ranking to get the nomination. Only time will tell the true strength of the online community. | |
