Here we are in the finale of the holiday season for the island.
New Year Eve parties followed by New Year day parties simply announce the impending hiatus facing us. Traffic is already moderate heading north off the island and I presume this will continue throughout the week.
By next weekend we'll be a sleepy little resort community resting up while waiting for the next season to start.
