We arrived at our turtle nest at 7PM filled with expectations.
One sleepy little turtle poked his head out just after dark at 8:15, almost exactly twelve hours from the last one that had hatched. He stumbled down to the surf looking groggy from sleeping too long. The rest of the night proved uneventful much to our disappointment.
