This weekend Hatteras Island hosts the last of the seasons fishing tournaments.
While it's been breezy and cool that certainly hasn't bothered the surfcasters who have been lined up along our beaches.
Reports are showing that the fishing is producing good catches of drum, puppy drum, trout and bluefish. The cooler weather has cooled our waters and hopefully this will mean a good year for rockfish. Stay tuned.
