Although not a Clinton FAMILY fan, I will try to simply announce what I heard and let you make up your own minds. On "Morning Joe" this morning they interviewed the author of a new book on the Clinton's.
There were in-depth questions asked about the influence that Bill may have in a possible impending Clinton presidency. The author felt that history shows the Clinton's share views on every political subject and felt Bill's input and influence on every decision would be profound.
Some might argue that we are possibly getting two political minds for the price of one and that Bill's experience will be beneficial.
I would counter that while spouse's almost always have some input in today's modern presidency, experience can only be a good teacher if you view both sides of the experience. For every plus, there is a minus and for every action an equal and opposite reaction, sometimes unforseen. The Clinton's were strong proponents for free trade and embraced NAFTA. We have seen the fallout from our current free trade policies and NAFTA and the long term results won't be known for years.
That is about as unbiased as I can be. Let's be careful that we know what we are voting for and can live with the outcome.
