I've noticed that Lou Dobbs is going around the country attending what he describes as listening events with the general public. I, along with a number of other watchers, wonder exactly what these events are leading up to.
Could these indeed be events that are meant to determine ground support for a possible run for office?
I like Dobb's grasp of reality and strong support for the common man. If given the opportunity, I would take a very close look at his candidacy. Of course, one would have to determine his position on a host of matters that he has not addressed on his nightly program. But, his common sense approach certainly brings a breath of fresh air to the field of candidates.
