Saturday afternoon and now Sunday brings us nice clear skies and although little wind, a cooler 65 degree temperature.
The temperature dropping seems dramatic as we had some 90 degree weather in the past 7-10 days, but this is certainly more seasonal.
Beside the ocean overwash and closure of Hwy 12 for a day, we saw infrequent damage. Some of the more exposed oceanfront homes had some damage, but all told we came through relatively unscathed.
Now we are back to being a quiet, beautiful ocean community.
