Monday morning dawned with beautiful sunshine and light breezes.
Gabrielle left our vicinity sometime around midnight so by dawn the puddles had disappeared. I understand the road was closed at the S curves in Rodanthe for a short period but that was the only problem that I heard of. There was a little beach erosion but really nothing significant. So, another beautiful day on the island.
